Went here for a bite to eat while working at Camperdown Park. Great parking facilities, wheelchair accessible. Didn't have a booking and walked and quickly seated. We were served drinks and food came quickly, even though they were fairly busy. Both had Mozzarella sticks with sweet chillie sauce , cooked well and still stringy. I had the steak, eggs were hard and steak was slightly more medium that medium rare. Good selection of veg and sides with steak for price. To full for a dessert but would of had the chocolate fudge cake as it looked great on a neighbours table.
Food was really good. We went early evening and we were amazed at how clean it was. Staff were attentive and friendly. Car park can do with a bit more lighting.
A solid local gem the food is top notch pub grub portion sizes on point, we were a party of 30 and the food arrived swiftly and without disappointment. I had the prawns which were good although the salad was undressed and could have been better, for the main I had a burger which was ok nothing amazing but enjoyable. The place is always busy so the atmosphere is as you would expect.

Just popped in for a quick lunch after visiting Ninewells Hospital. Had the signature steak pie which didn't disappoint. The pie was a large corner piece with a huge slab of delicious pastry covering lovely tender pieces of steak. Served with lovely chips and some carrots, it's obvious why this dish has always been so popular. My other half opted for traditional fish and chips which again arrived freshly cooked and extremely hot. A large piece of haddock topped with a smaller piece both beautifully cooked and very fresh. This is a place where you can expect a consistent product produced over many years and we are yet to be disappointed.
